Hunting for a new job? Amazon is on a holiday hiring spree and looking to fill 250,000 jobs across the U.S. – and they come with benefits!
According to the hiring announcement on Amazon, “All seasonal employees earn at least $18 per hour and have access to benefits like health care from the first day on the job.”
It’s no surprise that the holidays are a busy time – especially for the e-commerce giant. Here’s everything you need to know about seasonal jobs at Amazon, and how they could turn into a much bigger opportunity!
Amazon is looking to fill 250,000 full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles for customer fulfillment and transportation operations across the country.
From the warehouses and Locker+ locations to customer service roles and in-person Amazon stores. There’s something for every work style!
Amazon states on its website that all its jobs offer great pay, flexible schedules, and access to a range of benefits. For full-time roles, some benefits include health care from the first day at Amazon and education programs like Career Choice.
Amazon describes this program as, “we’ll pre-pay tuition for our teammates to earn college degrees or certificates, helping them build their careers for the long term (whether with us or another company).”
While a job at Amazon for the holidays might start out as seasonal, it can lead to so much more!
According to the company, “Seasonal employees who stay at the company can see an average pay increase of 15% over their first three years with us.”
Keep an eye out for openings near you at amazon.com/localjobs. Open roles are posted throughout the holiday season – but they fill up quickly so make sure you check back often!
This could be the start of something big – good luck!
