Want to make money and have a scary good time? ScreamFest is looking for Calgary horror-lovers to scare visitors silly this fall.
Whether you have experience with make-up, special FX, costuming, or just spooking your friends, there are several positions available during the city’s “scariest Halloween event.”
Not only are they hiring actors to work one of their seven haunted houses, but they’re also looking for game attendants and general staff to fill management, concession, and ticketing roles.
“Do you do exorcisms instead of exercise? Has a vampire’s feast made you smile? Find yourself digging up corpses on weekends? Then join the nightmare team at ScreamFest,” they write.
“Enter at your own risk, for the shadows hold more than just secrets. The spirits that dwell within these walls hunger for fresh souls to torment. Will you have what it takes to face the horrors that await? Only the courageous need apply”

Applicants must be over the age of 15 to apply and there will be no previous experience necessary, however, you’ll have to be available from 7 pm to midnight on October 11th-12th, 18th-19th,24th-27th, and the 30th and 31st.
Interviews will take place on September 19th and 20th 2024 so apply sooner rather than later and cross your fingers!
