Yonge-Dundas Square Winter Glow – Toronto, 2023, Brock Wunder
Back for the third year, Winter Glow at Sankofa Square (formerly Yonge-Dundas Square) kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025. Think glowing lights, festive music, delicious bites, and holiday cheer. A perfect spot to bring a date or the family, the mini festival will run until just before Christmas on Dec. 21, 2025.
“Winter Glow is fundamentally about community connections and creating a joyful destination where everyone feels welcome,” says Julian Sleath, General Manager of Sankofa Square.
And, just like the last two years, there are some exciting activations to look forward to and free goodies to take home.
SHEIN will have its SHEINBox Santa pop-up again this year, running at Winter Glow from Dec. 11 to 14, with over 6,000 free gifts available.
“All that festive holiday-goers need to do is snap a photo with SHEIN’s Box Santa, post it with #SHEINboxsanta, and show your post to Santa’s helpers to claim your surprise gift,” shares Sankofa Square.

While admission to Winter Glow is free, ride tickets will cost extra. Tickets start at $6 for one, $20 for four tickets, or $37 for eight tickets. Tickets can be purchased in advance if desired.
