San Juan Island has ranked among the top trending travel destinations in the US

Trip Advisor is getting 2023 started with its Traveler’s Choice Best of the Best for the new year. In anticipation of a year of travel and new adventures, the website has released a list of the top trending travel destinations across the US. Washington’s very own San Juan Island made the cut and here’s why.

For locals, it’s easy to see why people would travel from far and wide to see one of our state’s most beautiful islands. It may not be a tropical destination but it sure is scenic. Visitors can explore beaches, watch orca pods, and even visit one of the country’s largest lavender farms.
