This Samish Island Airbnb is the perfect weekend getaway & just an hour from Seattle

Ready to leave city life behind for a weekend? It’s time to head up to the Skagit Valley. Not only is it one of Washington’s most beautiful landscapes but it also happens to be peak season of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. With that in mind, this cottage Airbnb on Samish Island is the perfect spot to call your weekend home.

The sweet secluded cottage is nestled among a grove of beautiful Fir trees. Its French doors open to gardens and an orchard truly bringing the outdoors in and making for the perfect spring stay. Keep in mind it can fit a max of three guests so it’s probably best-enjoyed solo or as a duo.

Other than the light and bright bedroom, you’ll find a stylish new kitchen and bath, a gas stove, and a cozy reading nook. Outside you’ll find a garden patio with a fire pit and bbq. Not only that but there’s also a local tennis court with Pickle Ball, and ping pong available for your enjoyment.

Of course, because you’re on Samish Island you’ll also be able to check out the newly opened Skagit Land Trust nature preserve. Plus if you didn’t know, Samish Island is actually a drive-on Penninsula so don’t worry about catching a ferry. You can rent this beauty for $151 a night. Enjoy!
