SAM Remix returns to the Olympic Sculpture Park this month & here’s what to expect

SAM Remix is back at the Olympic Sculpture Park after a long two-year hiatus. If you’re unfamiliar with the event it’s one of the best ways to wrap up summer in Seattle. Expect an evening of adults-only fun and of course plenty of art.

The 21 and over after-hours art experience will be held on Friday, August 26th, from 8 pm until midnight. This year’s edition like years past features art installations, art making, music, performances, and other creative encounters. Expect to interact with and watch the best and brightest of Seattle’s local creative community.

SAM Remix is inspired by the beauty, freedom, and joy of being outside, “taking cues from the sculptures in the park that interact with the air and sky.” Some of the acts you’ll be able to see this year include Latinx DJ and electronic producer Christine Gutierrez, AKA DJ Gold Chisme, HYPERPOPPERS, contemporary dance company MALACARNE, and many more. Whether you want to hear music, watch a performance or see site-specific art, there’s something for you.

You can learn more and grab tickets at SAM’s website. Keep in mind, that all tickets must be purchased online and ahead of time. With that, enjoy and have a great August!
