Toronto’s getting a beach festival with salsa music, food trucks & a beer garden

Get ready to dance all night long. The month of July is absolutely filled with some of the best summertime festivals in Toronto, and this one just adds to all the fun. Salsa on the Beach is back this month and it’s taking over the east end with the best live bands, food trucks, and a beer garden. Here’s what to know about the event.

For three full days, July 14 to 16, Woodbine Park will transform into the ultimate outdoor fiesta. Dance partner or not, you’ll find yourselves dancing to the rhythm of Salsa, Merengue, and Cumbia.

Even if you don’t know how to dance, you’ll still find yourself enjoying every minute of it.

On Friday, the evening starts at 7 PM with beats by DJ Victor Explosivo and a salsa class later on in the evening. Saturday and Sunday, festivities begin at 2 PM and will last into the evening with live bands and more dance classes.

And to cool off, there will be a bunch of food trucks offering some of the city’s best eats and drinks. Take some time to also check out the beer garden. Chill and relax with a cold one.

Salsa on the Beach is part of the Beaches International Jazz Festival, a month-long music fest that is held each year in July in the Beaches. According to organizers, it is one of the largest free jazz festivals in Canada with almost a million attendees throughout the month.

If you love feeling the heat, Beaches Jazz Festival StreetFest is worth checking out this month as well.

Get ready for a fun-filled summer.
