Canada’s largest picnic is in Toronto & it kicks off with a summer solstice party

The largest premium picnic in Canada dedicated to rosé is back in Toronto this June and they’re kicking off with a summer solstice party. Here are all the deets you need to know!

The annual event returns to Hotel X Toronto on June 22nd, 2024, in support of Women’s College Hospital Foundation.

Pinks and whites will take over the hotel grounds, celebrating the start of the summer season.

New this year, the Rosé Picnic will kick off a day earlier with a Summer Solstice Party on June 21st, 2024. Expect Caribbean entertainment, dancers, stilt walkers and tunes by international DJs.

Since Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. is sponsoring the Rosé Picnic, and they’re bringing performances by Barbados’ own DJ Puffy and DJ Jus Jay, drinks by mixologists Dameian Williams and Philip “Casanova” Antoine, and eats by Chef Damian Leach, Chef Javon Cummins and Chef Creig Greenidge.

There will also give away a trip valued at $10,000 USD to a lucky ticketholder.

As for Saturday, guests will have the chance to keep the party going and enjoy rosé wines, spirits, pink champagne, custom cocktails and mocktails.

Expect gourmet picnic eats by Chef Trevor Lui from Baobird, Chef Mark McEwan, The Food Dudes, Communal Eats, Bashy Patties, Cleese CaterIng, Provisions and more.

For a more elevated experience, guests can join The VIP Key Lounge & Social Day Club for extra goodies, VIP restrooms, dedicated bars and swag bags.
