There’s a dazzling holiday trail featuring thousands of twinkling lights in Ontario. And it’s on an island! The River of Lights holiday experience kicks off this month and is sure to transport you to a magical winter wonderland.
From November 25th to January 2nd, The River of Lights holiday light display will take over Blockhouse Island in Brockville. You can enjoy this trail from the comfort of your own car.
Feast your eyes on the stunning array of lights that adorn the entire island.

Tune into 88.1 FM for a mix of contemporary and classic holiday music as you drive along the trail loop. The show is about 40 minutes long, according to organizers, and begins at 5 PM without music, for about an hour and 6 PM to 10 PM with sound.
There’s another static light show from 10 PM to 11 PM as well, for those that prefer a zero sound light show.
And the best thing about it is that it is absolutely free to enjoy.
Whether it’s a day trip experience or part of your weekend getaway, this is one holiday event you don’t want to miss.
