Metro Vancouver is getting a FREE Halloween festival with fireworks & trick-or-treating

Ready for a fantastic Halloween celebration for all ages? Whether you’re looking for adult pumpkin carving and painting or a family-friendly Monster Mash Dance Party, the City of Richmond has you covered this year.

From Friday, October 20th to Tuesday, October 31st, the City is hosting over 20 Halloween-inspired events, which includes its premier Fireworks Festival.

At the event, guests will be able to enjoy live performances onstage, trick-or-treating, and other family-friendly activities, all accompanied by fireworks, of course.

  • Monster Mash Dance Party – October 28th
  • Halloween Eeky Shrieky – October 28th
  • Halloween Magical Potions and Slime Making – October 30th and 31st
  • Zumba® – Halloween – Family (free) – October 28th
  • Origami – Halloween Theme – October 29th
  • Trick or Treat at City Centre (free) – October 31st
  • Youth Halloween Hangout (free) – October 31st
  • Halloween Pumpkin Painting (adults) – October 28th
  • Halloween Zumba® Party (adults, free) – October 29th
  • Carve a Pumpkin with a Youth (free) – October 20th
  • Aldor Acres Pumpkin Patch Grandparent and Grandchild Trip (32.25 per person) – October 27th
  • City of Richmond Fireworks Festival (free) – October 31st

Note that event parking for the Fireworks Festival is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early or take transit. The festival will take place at Minoru Park from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31st. So mark your calendars and get ready to celebrate Halloween with some special fireworks.
