A bunch of pups rescued from the U.S. need furever homes in Ontario

Meet your furry new best friend! The Ontario SPCA has just welcomed new rescue dogs from North Carolina, the organization’s first transport of 2022. After a long journey across the border, the pups will soon be ready to find their new homes.

All 26 of the rescue dogs have health certificates and proof of vaccination and have also undergone an additional wellness examination.

“With 12 animal centres across the province, we currently have the room for dogs, which is why we were able to work with our partners south of the border to give these dogs the loving families they deserve,” wrote the Ontario SPCA in a Facebook post.

Once the pups are available for adoption, a profile about them will be posted online. There are all kinds of adoptable animals available now in Ontario, including cats, guinea pigs, and even hamsters.

If a rescue pup has captured your heart, you can apply to take one home on the Ontario SPCA website.
