Ready for another escape to some rejuvenating hot springs? With this gloomy weather, we don’t blame you. While it’s a bit of a trek from the city – and closer to Banff than it is to Vancouver, the Village of Radium Hot Springs is well worth the visit, as anyone who has been can attest.
The stunning mountain town is nestled between the Canadian Rockies and Purcell Mountains, with the Columbia River running through its center. Visitors enter the village through the famed Sinclair Canyon, where they’re immediately greeted with postcard-worthy views.

Radium Hot Springs is a part of the Kootenay Rockies East Trail, which offers visitors ‘sip & stay’ options from October 11th to November 30th at a range of local hotels.
Situated in the beautiful Kootenay National Park (open year-round), Radium Hot Springs’ namesake is a must-visit if you’re in the Columbia Valley. According to its website, its naturally heated water contains a unique blend of minerals that are optimal for rejuvenation – and beyond skin level.
Visitors can enjoy its rocky surroundings, a “beach” area, and a plunge pool.
Single admission for adults is $16.50 per person, with you (aged 3 to 17) and seniors (aged 65+) able to access the pools for $14.25 per person. Tickets are available in person only, at the reception area.
