The game takes to the ice in Toronto on February 16th at 7:00 PM. Scotiabank Arena will be the third NHL venue to host a PWHL game this season.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing PWHL hockey to Scotiabank Arena – a fantastic venue for the latest chapter of one of pro hockey’s fiercest rivalries,” said Jayna Hefford, PWHL Senior VP of Hockey Operations.

“Whenever Montréal plays Toronto, emotions are high and the intensity rises. Montréal’s first-ever visit to Toronto is the only game on our schedule that night, so all eyes can be focused on our great players.”

The PWHL’s inaugural season kicked off on January 1st, 2024 and just one day later the league set a record for attendance at a professional women’s hockey game.

The attendance at PWHL Minnesota’s home opener on January 2nd brought in 13,316 people, setting the record for professional women’s hockey but the Battle on Bay Street may beat that.

Scotiabank Arena’s capacity is around 19,000 for hockey, meaning the Feb 16th showdown could once again set a new record when Montreal visits Toronto for the first time!

If you want to be a part of PWHL history don’t forget to grab your tickets. Tickets go on sale February 1st, 2024 at 10:00 AM and you can grab them here.
