This award-winning outdoor experience will have over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins in Edmonton

This beloved fall and Halloween event is returning to Edmonton with all brand-new pumpkin displays!

Pumpkins After Dark is Canada’s award-winning outdoor event, transforming magical fall nights into mystical memories with friends and family. The event takes place annually, and now it’s finally time for its return in 2025, featuring over 10,000 hand-carved pumpkins on display. This year, the event will start in mid-September and continue through to the end of October.

If it isn’t already, this event could be the start of a fall tradition with friends, family, or even a special night out with a loved one.

What to expect

Pumpkins After Dark takes place in Edmonton’s Borden Park, just north of the North Saskatchewan River. The main entrance is in the Natural Swimming Pool parking lot, and paid parking is available at The Edmonton EXPO Centre.

There are brand-new displays in this huge celebration of all things Halloween for 2025. Wondering what else is in store? Featured are live pumpkin carving demonstrations, fall treats and sweets, Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, and fun for the entire family! Stay updated for a detailed schedule on what’s in store.

Tickets are bought in advance, with pricing fluctuating depending on the date and time of your choosing.

Until Aug. 31, the code EARLYBOO will allow you to get 10 per cent off your tickets to the show. Don’t be afraid to book early, as popular dates can sell out due to high demand.

Get into the fall spirit with this outdoor experience, and enjoy what the season has to offer.
