There’s a “sail in” waterfront cinema near Seattle & it starts next month

With summer just around the corner, we are gearing up for outdoor movie season! While Marymoor and the likes are always a great choice, sometimes you want to do something a little different. That’s where the Port of Everett’s Sail-In Cinema comes into play.

From July 26th until August 30th, you can visit the Port of Everett’s Boxcar Park for the 9th annual Sail-In Cinema, which is said to be the only waterfront movie series in Snohomish County!

This year’s movie schedule is as follows:

  • July 26 @ 9:10 p.m. – The Super Mario Bros. Movie (PG)
  • August 2 @ 8:55 p.m. – The Boys in the Boat (PG-13)
  • August 9 @ 8:45 p.m. – The Parent Trap (1998) (PG)
  • August 16 @ 8:35 p.m. – Devotion (PG-13)
  • August 23 @ 8:20 p.m. – Elemental (PG)
  • August 30 @ 8:10 p.m. – Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom (PG-13)

The Port would like to remind you to dress in layers and pack a blanket as it gets chilly on the waterfront at night. Also, remember to only use blankets or low-back chairs for seating, this keeps the view accessible to everyone.

Now if you are coming in via boat, guest moorage is available on a first-come, first-served basis at Port of Everett’s North Guest Dock 7. Also note that, according to the Port of Everett, “the screen can no longer be viewed at this dock, so we recommend you come ashore to enjoy the movie.”

Enjoy!
