The pizza-in-a-cone concept is exactly how it sounds – a delicious, convenient way to consume your fave slice of pizza. If you haven’t gotten your hands on any pizza cones yet, not to worry. Konz pizza is launching not one, but two new locations in Surrey in the coming months. Let’s get into it!

Konz Pizza is the food trailer passion project turned restaurant franchise of Executive Chef Kris Lawrie. The idea started in early 2014, coming to fruition with his first trailer in Kelowna in the summer of 2015. Two years later, the first Konz store opened in Edmonton.

Flash forward to today, and Konz has launched pizza spots in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.

And they offer more than just pizza. Konz also has a ton of delicious made-to-order pasta on the menu, as well as salads, and even tater-tot poutine.

By way of dessert, there are milkshakes and soft serve to hit that sweet spot.

Now – back to the pizza cones. From classic pizza flavours like pepperoni, garden (olives, feta, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, roasted peppers), Hawaiian, & BBQ to more ambitious flavours like chicken noodle soup, cheeseburger, and tropical chicken – there is no shortage of options to choose from.

And that’s the word on pizza cones, folks! We hope you’re as excited to try one as we are. And if you’re feeling a little hungry after this post and craving some other pizza in the meantime, here’s our list of some of the best slices in the city.
