A new series of public art events is coming to Pioneer Square & here’s what to know

Seattle has plenty of amazing museums, many of which you can actually visit for free. But if you’re looking to see art without getting tickets or waiting in line, you’ll soon have a new option. A new series of public art events is coming to Pioneer Square and here’s what we know so far.

Forest For The Trees has partnered with Urban Villages and creative production house ARTXIV to bring a new series of public activations and events to RailSpur in Pioneer Square, Seattle.

If you haven’t heard of Forest For The Trees before, they’re a nonprofit 501(c)3 public art organization that believes artists play a vital role in cultural ecosystems and aims to protect and expand their reach amid an ever-changing environment.

On May 4th, they hosted the first Thursday art opening and they have new events happening nearly every month this summer.

The next is the first Thursday art opening on June 1st, then the MLB All-Star Baseball Carnival on July 6th-11th, then the Seattle Art Fair FFTT Activation on July 27th-30th, and finally yet another first Thursday art opening on August 3rd.

Your best to see what the area is all about is to visit it in person. So what are you waiting for? Head down to Pioneer Square and see for yourself.
