Looking for an off-the-grid, organic farm stay getaway in Washington? Well, there’s a custom strawbale cottage on an organic farm in White Salmon waiting for you. It’s every bit as peaceful as it sounds and might just be the perfect spot to start spring on the right foot.

The cabin was handbuilt with love and has those perfect hippie-dippy PNW vibes that we all secretly or not so secretly love. It’s a truly natural home, made from strawbale walls with lime plaster and sheep’s wool insulation in the cedar shake roof. To make it even more special it’s surrounded on all sides by views of Mt Hood. Oh, and it can sleep up to 4 guests.

Now as we mentioned above, this home is off the grid. That means, no wifi, no TV, etc. And in the case of this cottage, it also means that the kitchen and bathroom are located in a pavilion outside of the cottage. But all of these unique features make it a perfect place for a new experience and also to reconnect with nature.

You’ll be located just 20 minutes from White Salmon and also right by the Columbia Gorge. You can enjoy hiking, shopping, road trips and so much more from this special location. At the end of the day when you return, you can curl up by the indoor fireplace and simply relax. If you’d like to book it, it’ll cost you $106 a night.
