No cages, no outdoor elements, but loads of fun. If you’ve never heard of a hologram zoo, same here, but Niagara is home to one, and it’s the first of its kind in Ontario. Hologram Zoo Niagara uses “laser-light technology to make the animals literally come out of the screens,” and is a perfect way to enjoy the magic of the animal kingdom without having to brave the outdoor winter weather.
“Prepare to immerse your family in a world where animals come to life, feeling closer than ever before—just be ready for some surprises,” Hologram Zoo Niagara states.
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time in groups of one to three, three to six, or 10 plus, priced starting at $24.99 per person.
You can also customize your experience by selecting where you’d like to be transported to. Some of the holograms you can venture through include:
Each one takes you through a totally unique landscape and brings you face-to-face with animals, people, and sights you’d definitely never be able to see in Ontario otherwise.
Included in your ticket, there are some extras you can take advantage of, such as the green screen photo studio and the hologram theatre. If you’re popping in for a show at the theatre, be sure to grab some food and a drink to enjoy while you watch.
Finding activities in the wintertime for the whole family can be tough, and being coined as “Niagara’s newest and most unique attraction,” I can see this one being a massive hit.
Hologram Zoo Niagara is open seven days a week, starting at 11 a.m.
Where: 5530 Victoria Ave., Niagara Falls, Ont.
