Here’s what a $2,000 per night cottage looks like in Ontario

This Ontario cottage may cost more per night than what many people spend on a week-long vacation, but it’s nothing short of exceptional. In fact, it was just named one of VRBO’s Canadian Vacation Homes of the Year.

The home was chosen for having the best star ratings and guest reviews, as well as the greatest number of bookings and family-friendly amenities of any cottage rental in Ontario.

From the outside, it’s clear that you’ll be vacationing in luxury at this private gated cottage in Port McNicoll, which is actually more like a waterfront estate.

The home has 320-degree views of Georgian Bay, six bedrooms, a lakeside cabana, and all the amenities that a boaters’ dreams are made of.

The beautifully landscaped grounds and sprawling outdoor space make it the perfect venue for a wedding or function, and the home comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests.

In the evenings, you can cozy up next to one of three fireplaces located throughout the home, and paddle around the Bay in a canoe or kayak during the day.

The waterfront cabana comes with a large TV and a ping pong table to keep you entertained in between cannonballs into the lake.

And for an average nightly rate of just over $2,000, you’ll want to get your money’s worth and make use of everything this place has to offer.

However, if it’s out of your price range, this cottage rental in Collingwood was also named one of VRBO’s Canadian Vacation Homes of the Year and it’s several hundred dollars cheaper per night.
