Most locals know about the famous clothing-optional beach on the Toronto Islands. The City designated it as such back in 2002 and it continues to be a popular spot for nude and clothed swimmers alike every summer. If you enjoy the occasional skinny dip, or simply forgot your bathing suit, you can let it all hang out here.
Where: Hanlan’s Point Beach, Lakeshore Ave, Toronto
You’ll find this unique spot just off of Highway 404 between Toronto and cottage country. You can wander through a vast landscape of forests, ponds, streams, and lakes, all in the nude. The resort also hosts events like beach volleyball tournaments and standup comedy shows.
Where: 20237 Kennedy Rd, Gwillimbury
Apparently, you’ll find this unofficial clothing-optional beach right on the outskirts of the Scarborough Bluffs at East Point Park. Cottage Life says it’s about 100 metres east of the parking lot at the foot of Beechgrove Dr, but you may want to continue further before you strip down.
You’ll also want to keep your shoes on to protect your feet from broken glass or anything sharp that may be on the ground.
Where: 101 Copperfield Rd, Scarborough (east of Beechgrove Dr)
There you have it, friends! Now that you know where to go, all that’s left to do is to pick a spot and get your birthday suit on.
