According to the signage, Independent City Market closed on April 27th and will be opening the No Frills on May 30th, 2024.
The No Frills will take over one of the busiest intersections in Toronto at King and Shaw giving residents of the King West neighbourhood a more affordable grocery shopping option.
The exact address is 1022 King Street West.
According to No Frills’ website, the next closest locations to the downtown core are in Parkdale, and on College Street.
In a time where grocery prices seem to climb more and more everyday, hopefully this discounted supermarket gives shoppers in the area some relief in their wallets.
Mark your calendars for the end of the month and enjoy the brand new No Frills, Toronto!
