New report shows the best areas near Seattle to buy a house

Well, folks if you’re looking to buy in Seattle you know it’s a tough market. But if you’re considering moving within the Seattle area you’re in luck. Because a list of the best places to buy a house in the Seattle area just came out and some of the spots might surprise you.

The list was compiled by Niche and is based on several factors including things like home values, housing costs, and also data from the census. And we say the data might surprise you because the areas they include as the “Seattle area” are a bit wider than what we consider to be Seattle. Regardless, it’s still interesting to see what might be the state’s next hot housing market.

The top three areas were North Redmond, Sammamish Valley, and Sammamish Plateau. All three areas received an overall average A grade from Niche.
