Are you looking for a fun long weekend activity? Well then, the new Greenheart TreeWalk at the UBC Botanical Garden might be just what the doctor ordered. This new Vancouver attraction offers a treetop tour of one of the city’s most impressive gardens. Let’s check it out!
The TreeWalk officially opened at the start of July, and will be open until the end of October. The route winds some 310 metres through the forest. And on the other hand, the TreeWalk soars over 20m into the sky at some points! Hope you’re not scared of a little height.

While you’re on the walk, you’ll be treated to a unique view of the forest canopy. Douglas firs, cedars and grand firs are dominant here. Plus, some of the specimens are over 100 years old. And if you’re really devoted, you can also sign up for a guided tour.
As for us? Well, we kind of just want to go mess around safely on some rope bridges. And now, there’s one more option for us in the city!
When: Open Wednesday through Sunday, 12PM-3PM
Where: 6804 SW Marine Drive
Cost: $10 for garden admission, and $13 for TreeWalk add-on
