We love to hit the theatre, popcorn in hand, but there’s something extra special about feeling the grass beneath your toes while you watch one of your favourite flicks.

This September, the Sunalta and Scarboro Community Associations will return with their Movie In The Park, a charming event that features a film chosen by Calgarians featuring food, fun and friends.

This year’s film? Disney’s Ratatouille – a heartwarming movie about a rodent with a dream, beloved folks of all ages (which we’re willing to bet is why it was selected).

The most exciting part? In addition to there being mini-donuts for sale, it’s totally FREE to attend and open to everyone interested, but be sure to mark it in your calendar and plan accordingly. The park is only so big and you’ll want to get there early for a spot in front of the screen!

You won’t want to miss it – especially if somehow, you’ve never seen this absolute classic before.

You’re in for a treat!

When: Friday, September 8th, 2023
Where: 1747 14th Ave SW Calgary
