Stars, snacks & cinema: This Calgary park is showing a FREE outdoor movie & here’s when

There’s nothing better than catching a flick with friends – especially if the screen is outside!

This September, the Sunalta and Scarboro Community Associations with support from the West End Legal Centre will return with Movie In The Park Calgary and you won’t want to miss it!

A charming celebration that features food trucks, fun, and a film chosen by the public, few events are more anticipated by these particular communities every summer.

The reason? Not only is it a great way to get some fresh air, but it’s totally FREE to attend.

As always, the film will not be selected until later this sunny season, but we’ll keep an eye out!

This year’s options will likely be posted on Instagram and their website, then will be voted on by the public.

As some of you may remember, 2023’s film was Ratatouille, so you won’t be disappointed!

Until then, get ready, Calgary!

I won’t be long until the snow has melted and the grass is green (and dry) enough to comfortably sit on once again.

Enjoy!
