Need some vacay inspo? Travel + Leisure Magazine recently dropped its list of the most beautiful islands around the globe, and among famous destinations like Bali, Bora Bora, and Phuket is none other than our very own Vancouver Island.

Unsurprisingly, Vancouver Island was hailed for its “unspoiled” natural wilderness, from sandy beaches to ancient forests, and over 200 rivers meandering in between.

Of course, Victoria also gets a shout-out as the provincial capital for being “chock-full of charm and culture” – definitely worth a visit if you’re planning a west coast escape.
