In case you’re looking for another reason to hang out in Gastown this summer, the community-wide “Meet Me in Gastown” celebration is back this year with another incredible street party, and it’s completely free to attend. So, get ready to feast on takeout from nearby restaurants, play giant outdoor games, and enjoy live music on two different stages.

Organized by Low Tide Properties along with the Gastown Business Improvement Society, PCI Developments, Reliance Properties, and The Salient Group, the event is set to close Water Street from Abbott to Carrall to celebrate the area’s unique heritage and community.

“Meet Me in Gastown is a major highlight for our community during the summer,” says Harmony Cornwell, Director of Property Management and Operations at Low Tide Properties. “This event showcases all that Gastown has to offer and brings our local businesses, residents, and visitors together to celebrate the historic and vibrant atmosphere that Gastown holds.”
