4 reasons why McCain’s Toronto fry experience is a must-visit spot for fall

TGIF: Thank Goodness It’s Fry-day!

Who doesn’t enjoy french fries? According to McCain, less than a percent of the population. For the other 99.2%, the delicious potato is the perfect complement to a delightful meal or memorable day.

To celebrate the beloved spud, McCain is hosting the McCain Happy Frydays Café — AKA, a fry lover’s dream. Now to November 24 make your way to the downtown Toronto location near Trinity Bellwoods for a supercharged fry-tastic experience. Here are three reasons you don’t want to miss out.

Mind-melting menu

McCain

When it comes to cooking with french fries, the only limit is imagination, which is why the McCain Happy Fryday Café lineup is sure to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen — or tasted.

Feast your tastebuds on Tasti Tachos, which see McCain Tasti Taters as the base for a plate of nachos that feature the absolute works; reimagine a classic slider with McCain Smiles and Spirals; customize a fry-rimmed milkshake; or, kick things up a notch with Unicorn Fries (which, word on the street, are topped with cotton candy!).

Rotating themes

Every Friday — or should we say, Fryday — the café will launch a new, over-the-top menu item.

November 8 to 24 will celebrate Swifties with the cleverly created Look What You Made Me Fondue (french fries served with fondue dipping pots of cheese and chocolate) and This Is Me Frying (a customizable flight of McCain favourites).

Delicious decor

Bring your camera and charge your cell phone, because when you tell people about the 25-foot-tall french fries that adorn the entrance, you might need pics to prove it.

The inside of the café is just as magical, with a lively communal dining room, air-fryer dance party, and decorations that change with the weekly themes. Plus, you’ll want to snap a pic of your french fry masterpiece in the colourful cafe pick-up window before you dig in, because who knows when you’ll feast on something so spectacular again?

Spreading good vibes one fry at a time

Profits from food and merchandise at McCain’s Happy Frydays Café will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities® Canada.

Funds will go towards the charity’s work to keep families with sick children together and close to the medical care they need. So, you can enjoy delicious food and feel good knowing your meal contributes to a truly meaningful cause.

Fries are synonymous with fun this fall at the McCain Happy Frydays Café. Take the family for a memorable outing or gather your friends for an evening of feasts and photos as you dine on some out-of-this-world creations in an immersive environment that’s as unique as you are.
