The immersive LUSIO Lights Festival returns this summer and it’s FREE

This August Mary Olsen Farm will be transformed into a magical world full of immersive light art installations created by local artists. LUSIO Lights Festival will literally light up the historic farm which is regarded as King County’s best-preserved subsistence farm. Best of all, the event is completely free and all ages.

This is the 6th annual LUSIO Lights Festival and the second year the event has taken place at Mary Olsen Farm. The farm has unique features like a 100-year-old barn, livestock, farmhouse, creek, and orchard. Beyond the farm’s stunning backdrop, it also provides plenty of space for visitors to roam and see the works at their own pace.

Visitors can expect to see light art installations of all shapes, sizes, and formats curated to blend into nature. The festival encourages you to explore, play, get inspired, and of course, appreciate some art! Beyond the visuals, you’ll also be able to enjoy a curation of sounds from local artists & DJs that tie the whole experience together.

Even though the event is free be sure to RSVP before attending. The event also encourages you to dress up in your most glowing outfits but asks that you leave the pups at home due to the animals on the farm property. So grab your friends, family or SO as there’s something for everyone at this festival.
