Outdoor lovers — Toronto is getting a new L.L. Bean store, and while the city already has one in the north end, the new spot will be much closer to the core. The popular outdoor clothing and equipment spot is set to open at the Manulife Centre, right at the corner of Bay and Bloor, in the summer, and it’s going to be massive.
According to Retail Insider, the space will span 9,500 square feet on the shopping centre’s concourse level.
Before the transformation into an L.L. Bean, the spot was an LCBO.
The store opening is part of L.L. Bean’s fast-paced expansion in Canada, with 15 stores currently open in the country, with the first opening in Oakville in 2019. Toronto’s first location opened at Shops at Don Mills back in 2021.
