This map shows you where to find little free libraries in Seattle and across the world

Are you a voracious reader? If so, you’re probably no stranger to the Seattle Public Library. But did you know there are little free libraries all across Seattle? These libraries are supplied by Seattleites just like you and are a great way to find new reads that you may have never known existed. Here’s where you can find them.

If you’ve seen little cabinet-looking structures that face sidewalks while walking around your neighborhood, chances are that it’s a little library!

The movement was started by the Little Free Library nonprofit organization in St. Paul, Minnesota. Their mission is “to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access.”

Best of all, the organization has a map that shows all of the registered libraries in the city and worldwide. There’s actually even an app to help you find libraries on the go. Keep in mind, some people make their own libraries and don’t register them so you may actually find even more than what’s shown on the map or app.
