Lionel Messi could play in Toronto this weekend & tickets are still available

The day is almost here! Toronto FC is hosting Inter Miami this weekend which means Lionel Messi could be playing in the city. While the GOAT’s attendance has not been confirmed, hopeful fans are waiting to hear and buying tickets to the match in the meantime. If you want to be a part of Lionel Messi mania in Toronto here’s what tickets will cost you.

The match

The game is taking place this weekend on Saturday, October 5th at 4:00 PM at BMO Field.

Ticket prices have been slowly climbing as the anticipation builds so if you want to snag yours at a decent price, we suggest buying ASAP.

Currently, tickets start at $286.70 but have gone up from around 200 just hours ago.

Lionel Messi

So, will Messi play? The short answer is no one knows yet.

The superstar has been dealing with an ankle injury on and off this season and Miami has now won the MLS Supporters’ Shield meaning the next couple match ups won’t have any effect on playoffs.

As for Messi’s other two games in Canada this season it was split down the middle.

The 37-year-old played in Montreal back on May 12th but just a couple weeks later did not play in Vancouver Inter Miami vs the Whitecaps.

Either way, the match is sure to be a good one in Toronto so if you have the cash to dish out it could be worth it to potentially see one of the greatest athletes of all time. Lionel Messi – fingers crossed we see you in Toronto!
