In need of a summer gig? The LCBO is hiring, and they’re looking for eager individuals to join their roster.
Over 80 job postings are now live on the LCBO career page for locations across Toronto. These listings are specifically for Customer Service Representatives who will work at the retail level.
“We have an immediate need to hire great people with an engaging personality, who are passionate about delivering an extraordinary customer experience, for each of our retail locations throughout the province of Ontario,” shares the liquor board on their site.
The chosen individuals will work between May 5, 2025, to Sept. 1, 2025.
According to the job listing, the employee will be required to do the following:
As for availability, considering it is a summer job, you’ll need to be flexible. That means you must have availability on Fridays from 5 p.m. to close, Saturdays and Sundays available all day for a four- to eight-hour shift.
For holidays, you must be available on Victoria Day weekend, Canada Day weekend, Civic Holiday weekend, and Labour Day weekend.
Despite being paid above minimum wage at $20.36 an hour, the LCBO does provide benefits.
There’s an Employee Family and Assistance Program through TELUS Health and discounted services, products and tickets to sporting and entertainment events via WorkPerks.
If this sounds like something for you, update that resume and apply!
Warmer weather is just around the corner, and you’ll definitely need some extra funds to keep you saying yes to all your plans this summer.
