Here’s when to expect Edmonton’s last 8 p.m. sunset of the year

The weather in Edmonton has been heating up, just in time for the end of summer!

This gives everyone the perfect opportunity to take in the limited time we have left with the stunning sunsets after 8 p.m. In the city, there are many perfect places to sit and admire the beauty of the sky before the cold winter arrives. The last 8 p.m. sunset in Edmonton is coming up, so you don’t want to miss your chance to make the most of it while you can.

When is the last 8 p.m. sunset of the year?

According to Time and Date, Edmonton can enjoy sunsets after 8 p.m. until Wednesday, Sept. 10, when the local sunset time is exactly 8 p.m.

The sun will start setting at 7:58 p.m. after the 10th, until it eventually reaches 7 p.m. (or, more accurately, 6:59 p.m.) on Oct. 5.

On the brighter side, that gives about a month more of those beautiful late Edmonton sunsets before Daylight Saving Time strikes in November.

If you’re looking for something to check out while the weather is still nice and fresh outdoors, we’ve got options.

Edmonton’s Corn Maze has just opened up, and with the sunflowers in full bloom, it’s the perfect picturesque opportunity with a sunset in the background. Or, if you want a chance to hit them before the season ends, there are a number of excellent farmers markets in and around the Edmonton area.

Enjoy what’s left of the hot summer days, and mark your calendar for the last 8 p.m. sunset in Edmonton this year!
