There is nothing I dread more than when the days get shorter and the weather gets cooler. Well, the time is coming, Toronto. The city will experience its last 8 p.m. sunset of the year this week, so if you’re like me and want to savour it, here’s what to know.
According to Time and Date, Toronto’s last 8 p.m. sunset will happen on Aug. 27, 2025, at 8:01 p.m. After that, all sunsets occur at 7:59 p.m. or earlier.
By Sept. 29, 2025, sunsets will start as early as 7:01 p.m. *single tear drop rolls down face*
One thing we can look forward to? There are still two more months before we “fall back” an hour, and Daylight Saving Time ends.
The weather for the 27th is set to be cool (a high of 23) and mostly sunny. While there will be a small mix of clouds in the evening, let’s hope it clears up enough to catch one last late sunset.
