There’s a winter festival with fireworks, ice sculptures and an ice bar in Lake Chelan

While it maybe cold outside, winter is a good season to host a festival. And if you’re looking for one to check out this month, the Lake Chelan Winterfest is a picturesque way to experience Washington’s Winter Wonderland with all sorts of fun.

Kicking off this weekend, Lake Chelan Winterfest will run from Friday, January 12th to Sunday January 21st. Visitors are invited to view intricate ice sculptures, watch two fireworks shows, enjoy the infamous ice bar, listen to live music, and ride a snow slide across both downtown Chelan and Manson.

You can shop from a local vendor market, sip during a wine walk, and enjoy a “Bubble Brunch” with world-class bubbles produced in the Lake Chelan Valley.

When it comes to viewing the ice sculptures its important to keep in mind that they may not hold their integrity due to the weather, so be sure to visit early on if you’re keen on seeing them.

As for fireworks, you can watch beautiful displays on both Saturday, January 13th and Saturday January 20th at 6:30 PM. The first display takes place at Don Morse Park and the second at Manson Bay.

Tickets for Winterfest and its accompanying attractions are on sale now, and can be purchased online.
