You can walk under a golden canopy of Laburnum trees at this popular Vancouver garden

The season of June gloom might be upon us, but there is a pretty special natural phenomenon going on as we speak. For only two weeks out of the year, the Laburnum trees in Vancouver are in full bloom. Why not take advantage and go on a Laburnum Walk at VanDusen Botanical Gardens?

Why not go for a walk surrounded by the golden shrouds of Laburnum blossoms?! The official Laburnum Walk features 43 golden ‘wisteria-like’ chain trees and purple alliums.

Check out VanDusen’s Bloom Calendar to see what’s blooming and plan ahead to enjoy Japanese Dogwoods, Waterlilies, Magnolia season, and more this summer.

Also happening this June is VanDusen’s coveted Rose Show, where you can pick up some beautiful blooms for just 50 cents! Stay tuned via VanDusen’s website for more deets.

Tickets are only available onsite for GA, so plan your visit and air on the early side. The Garden is open from 10 am to 5 pm this season, with the last entry of the day scheduled for 3:30 to 4:30 pm.

Pro-tip: book a time during the weekday to avoid crowds and enjoy a little one-on-one time with the Laburnum blossoms.

We’ll see you there, Vancouver!
