This BC Upick strawberry field is opening for the season & it has a waffle bar

If strolling through strawberry fields to pick fresh fruit on a warm summer day sounds dreamy to you, well, we’re about to make it sound even dreamier. Krause Berry Farm is open for the season, ready to welcome guests to pick their own strawberries and enjoy their waffle bar – yep you heard that right! A waffle bar.

Krause Berry Farm’s Upick fields are open now and operate on a first-come first-serve basis daily from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM while supplies last.

The price for the Upick baskets range depending on how many strawberries you’re hoping to take home:

• Small Basket ( holds 1lb) $6.00
• 4 Litre Basket (holds about 5.5lbs) $20.00
• 8 Litre Basket (holds about 11lbs) $37.50

If you don’t feel like doing all the work, Krause also has pre-picked fresh strawberries available too:

• Small Basket $6.50
• Large Basket $16.00
• 10lb Flat $62.00
• 15lb Flat $89.00

If you’ve worked up an appetite after strolling though the strawberry fields then surely you’ve earned yourself some waffles.

Krause Berry Farm has a Waffle Bar serving fresh, hot waffles daily from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Waffle toppings change with the season, and in the summer months they change with the berry crops that are being harvested, so of course right now guests can enjoy fresh strawberries.

The Regular Waffle with seasonal topping, berry syrup and real whipped cream are priced at $13.95 while the Vegan Gluten Friendly Waffle with seasonal topping, berry syrup and coco whip costs $15.50.

We can’t think of a better way to spend a warm day.
