Looking to get a thrill without leaving the province this summer? After months of anticipation, the Canyon Ski Resort has announced that they’re finally ready to open their long-awaited alpine roller coaster and you’re going to want to book your tickets ASAP.
Set to open on Friday, August 5th, the Canyon Coaster is approximately 1,300 metres, can travel up to speeds of 40 km/hr and will include a 440-foot vertical drop – according to their website.
“Like most things, it’s about taking what seems like a crazy dream and bringing it to fruition!” they wrote on their Instagram.
“Every turn and corner, every whoop de whoop was carefully choosen and planned for the ultimate experience! We are so thrilled and think you will be too!!”
