In case you missed it, BC residents will soon be able to travel between downtown Nanaimo and downtown Vancouver via Hullo’s new high-speed catamaran vessels. The good news? Both ferries have officially arrived in Pointe Hope, Victoria, and will head to Nanaimo for the launch of the new service next month. Even better – if you’re on the hunt for a new job, it’s worth taking a look at the company’s open positions right now!

Currently, there are six open roles up for grabs, which we’ve gone ahead and listed below:

  • Chief Engineer (full-time)
  • Marine Maintenance Assistant (full-time)
  • Seasonal Deckhand (contract)
  • Guest Experience Agent Nanaimo terminal (full-time)
  • Guest Experience Agent – Vancouver terminal (full-time)
  • IT Technician (full-time)

Note that all roles except one are based in Nanaimo.

As for when passengers can expect to hop aboard, Hullo will officially launch its new 70-minute service between the Nanaimo Port Authority and Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre at Burrard Landing in early August.

So there you have it, BC. A new high-speed service is on the way between the mainland and the Island, and job searchers have some new options to consider as a result. Happy job hunting!
