Hudson’s Bay has just announced a major warehouse sale, the likes of which we’ve rarely seen, while liquidation continues at the majority of its stores in Canada.
It’s been a tough go for Canada’s oldest company, as Hudson’s Bay filed for creditor protection last month, sending the majority of its locations across the country into liquidation, slated to close in the coming months.
Fortunately for consumers, business struggles for them can also mean major savings for us, and, in their latest move, The Bay is announcing major price cutbacks at their warehouse.
While regularly, shoppers can expect to find discounts of up to 30 per cent off Hudson’s Bay products at their Etobicoke warehouse, this sale is ramping things way up, with discounts of up to 60 per cent off everything.
When I say everything, I really do mean everything. You’ll be able to score 60 per cent off furniture and 50 per cent off patio furniture, on top of discounts on kitchenware, apparel, decor, handbags and even select items from the HBC Stripes collection.
Every piece of the thousands at the warehouse must go, and discounts will be changing weekly, so you’ll want to keep your finger on the pulse of this sale to really make the most of it.
Elsewhere, you can also try your luck at all of Hudson’s Bay’s Toronto stores with the exception of their Yonge Street flagship, Yorkdale and Richmond Hill locations (which might soon be in jeopardy too), as well as their online store, to see what liquidation deals you can score there.
The sale kicks off on Thursday, April 10, and runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday to Sunday, excluding Good Friday (April 18) and Easter Sunday (April 20) at Hudson’s Bay’s warehouse at 160 Carrier Drive. Free parking is available.
