This Toronto terrace is transforming into a European-inspired holiday market

Too early to talk about the holidays? The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, is gearing up to bring the magic of the festive season to the EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace starting this November. Experience a luxurious holiday market with gorgeous winter decor, a seasonal menu and much more.

From Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2025, this stunning market will transform EPOCH’s outdoor terrace into a vibrant winter wonderland. From top to bottom, it will be decorated with festive décor, capturing the spirit of the season.

What will EPOCH’s Holiday market look like?

It will be inspired by traditional European holiday markets, bringing a touch of medieval charm to the city.

Think wooden chalets with twinkling lights, handmade ornaments and seasonal treats. All four senses will be ignited, giving visitors a bit of nostalgia and connection with the season.

“This holiday season, we are thrilled to transform EPOCH into a destination where guests can gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories,” said Lukas Boeckmann, General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto.

“Our Holiday Market blends the luxury and warmth of The Ritz-Carlton with the timeless traditions of European holiday markets, creating an atmosphere filled with festive spirit.”

There will also be holiday huts featuring glowing candles, footwear, confectionery treats, wine, and more.

What can I eat at EPOCH’s Holiday market?

As for food, expect holiday specials like Hot Chocolate and Mulled Wine to sip on, Pulled Ham Hock and Pineapple Marmalade Sliders, along with Duck Confit Tourtière, Truffle and Gruyere Grilled Cheese, and Crepes Suzette, to enjoy.

“Food is at the heart of celebration, and our Holiday Market menu draws inspiration from traditional festive flavours elevated with refined presentation,” said Chef Ignatius Prinsloo, Executive Sous Chef, The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto.

“We want our guests to enjoy decadent comfort food in a nostalgic environment that brings people together.”

It’s about $30+ per person, which covers one festive drink and one food item.

What are the hours for EPOCH’s Holiday market?

The Holiday Market will be open Thursdays to Saturdays, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Both walk-in and reservations are accepted.

Are you ready to welcome the holiday season?
