A huge antiquing event is coming to Calgary this month and it’s the ultimate treasure hunt

If you live for the thrill of thrifting, then the ultimate treasure hunt is coming to Heritage Park in Calgary on Easter weekend. The Heritage Park Roadshow is a brand-new event and a must for anyone who loves antiquing.

Come down for three days of history, rare antiques, and adrenaline-fueled auctions. Whether you’re a collector, a family, or just someone who loves a good deal, you won’t want to miss this.

Here’s everything you need to know about Calgary’s newest antiquing event at Heritage Park.

What to expect

Going once, going twice, sold!

The Heritage Park Roadshow has everything a vintage-loving soul could want. Get professional appraisals, bid on one-of-a-kind finds, and experience the energy of a live auction hosted by Canadian Pickers’ Sheldon Smithens. You’ll also get a sneak peek at what’s coming to Heritage Park for the 2025 season. If an auction sounds too high-pressure, there will also be a large vintage market where you can roam and thrift at a leisurely pace.

Here’s a taste of all the attractions lined up for the Heritage Park Roadshow:

  • Premier Antique Auction at the Gasoline Alley Museum
  • Silent Antique Auction at the Gasoline Alley Museum
  • Antique & Retro Market at the Celebration Tent
  • Daytime Antique Auction at the Chautauqua Tent
  • Antique Appraisals at the Celebration Tent
  • Spring Thaw Car Show at Heritage Park parking lots ‘B’ and ‘D’

Along with fun activities like:

  • Face painting
  • Horse-drawn carriage rides
  • Bouncy houses
  • Vintage sidecar rides
  • Park-wide treasure hunts
  • Easter bunny appearances
