Here’s where you can get a PCR test in Vancouver before a weekend getaway

Well folks, after an insanely long wait, the US borders reopened for international travellers this week. And while you don’t need a negative test to enter America, you will need one to get back into Canada. So, whether you’re spending a weekend in Seattle or just taking a drive to Trader Joe’s for groceries, this list of where you can get a PCR (or equivalent) test in Vancouver should come in handy.

Now, you’re going to see a lot of the same info, and that’s because the majority of these options use LifeLabs to process their tests. Just a heads up there.

24/7 Testing

One of two spots on this list that offers mobile testing services. As such, the price varies per booking. Results can be available within 6 hours.

Offers tests for $188 plus taxes. The average turnaround time is 25 hours, but same-day results are available for an extra fee.

Offers test for $199 including tax. Results are guaranteed within 48 hours, and same-day results are available for an extra fee.

COVID Travel Vancouver

Offers tests starting at $195 plus tax. Results are usually available within 48 hours, however, the timing of the results is not guaranteed.

Offers tests starting at $250 plus tax. Results are guaranteed within 24 hours of taking the test, and 12 hours for an extra fee.
