Here’s when & how you can book camping spots at Canada’s national parks

Alright, survivalists. Get ready, get set because this season is about to get pitchin’. Parks Canada has officially announced that they’ll begin taking campsite reservations for May 2021 through to March 2022 starting next month.

Now, despite there being 38 national parks, historic sites and marine conservation areas across the country, we would still advise claiming a spot as soon as the books open up in your area.

It may sound like there’s going to be plenty of time and room to mark your territory, but if last year was any indication – they’re going to go quickly.

With closures and cancellations, camping has kind of become the ‘hot’ thing to do in the warmer months and you won’t want to miss out!

To book your site, visit the Parks Canada page here, where each province and park has been listed with respective reservation launch dates and amenities, as well as links to more information about each campground.

Good luck and happy adventuring, friends!
