This company wants to pay you $20,000 to ‘glamp’ your way across Canada

We all have a ‘dream job’ and if we had to guess, yours probably has something to do with travel. Right? Well, what if we told you that we knew someone who could grand your wish? What if we told you that this summer one lucky Canadian will get the chance to see everything from coast to coast, all thanks to HipCamp, a company that connects those who offer unique stays outdoors, with those looking for a crazy staycation.

I’ve you’ve never heard of the company before, don’t feel entirely bad! HipCamp actually just launched here in Canada about a month ago, and man, have they already proven to be one to watch!

This sunny season with a camera in one hand and a suitcase in the other, one northerner will have received $20,000 CAD (plus food expenses) to camp (or glamp) their way across the country over 40 days.

Aptly named ‘Canada’s Best Summer Job Contest,’ this once-in-a-lifetime experience will see its finalists announced on July 19th, giving you about 3 weeks from today (June 22nd) to apply. 

To do this, HipCamp asks that you send in a 90 second YouTube video explaining why you think you would be the best fit, as well as a short blurb about why they should pick you.

If you’re successful – you’ll be notified on July 26th and start your journey shortly after!
