Well, we will be honest and say that we never expected to be looking for locally-made Vancouver face masks as presents this holiday season. But, this has been a zany year, and here we are! So, let’s see what some of the best brands around the city have to offer us. Hint: good design, good deals, and lots of good intentions.
So, here are 5 great Vancouver brands selling face masks.
This was one of our picks earlier this year, and it still is today! MAKE is usually a custom t-shirt shop, so it makes sense that they’ve got an amazing selection of graphic designs on their masks. Or, you can custom print your own. Plus, for every mask bought one gets donated to a local charity. And so far, they’ve given away over 10,000!

This brand definitely has one of the more upscale options on our list, but the quality backs up the price. Available in a variety of prints, the masks feature fun designs, a removable wire nose bridge, and adjustable ear clasps. They’re both cute and durable! Our top pick is definitely the ‘micro-dose‘ print.

Here’s another brand that is giving back with their sales. LONDRE has pledged that for every 2-pack of masks they will donate a meal to a mother in need. We think that the silky look of the mask has a little bit of elegance to it, but might also be sporty? Perfect for Vancouver’s vibe.

Another great Vancouver designer, coming from a background in accessories. We’re huge fans of the most recent addition, which are printed masks depicting a sort of hemp leaf design, using Japanese cotton. We think these might be the best pick of the bunch if you’re looking for his and hers options.

And we’re back with another brand giving back to the community! That sentence is a mouthful. Anyway, glasnost has got a ton of designs to choose from, ranging from a tie-dye watercolour to floral prints. And of course, $1 from every order will be donated to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Shelter.
