Fleece gate worked: This Canadian company is finally releasing the famous ‘Heated Rivalry’ jacket

Shane Hollander’s Team Canada fleece jacket will soon be available for purchase, thanks to this Canadian apparel company.

The hit TV show Heated Rivalry has taken the world by storm. The gay hockey romance has warmed the hearts of many, and it continues to grow and grow in popularity. One item of clothing in the show, however, has caught a large amount of attention, enough to get some big names involved.

The famed fleece jacket

In the second episode of the show, Shane Hollander wears a white and red zip-up fleece jacket as part of Team Canada for the in-universe Sochi Olympics. This fleece has blown up on the internet. It’s making its rounds enough for people to start making replicas and dupes. I, myself, was even looking around to see if anyone had a good version of this jacket.

Good news, folks. You won’t have to look around any longer. Province of Canada, a popular clothing retailer that makes all its clothing in the country, is here to save the day.

Ahead of the Winter Olympics this year, Province of Canada is releasing a replica of the Heated Rivalry Team Canada zip-up fleece jacket. This jacket will be a tribute to Hanna Puley, the costume designer for the show’s Canadian Fleece. They even partnered up with the producers of the show themselves.

We couldn’t be more excited. Not only is it official Heated Rivalry merchandise, but it’s from a fully Canadian company!

“We’re so excited to partner with Province of Canada. As a Canadian-based, independent apparel brand that does amazing work sourcing and manufacturing high-quality clothing, we share a common ethos. We look forward to bringing it to life with the creativity and care fans expect,” says Jacob Tierney and Brendan Brady, executive producers and co-presidents of Accent Aigu Entertainment.

Price, availability, and the exact release date will be announced soon.

Don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated on all the juicy details. Stay tuned for more.
