A FREE day-long festival & street party is coming to Metro Vancouver this summer

If you’re looking for a full day of family fun to add to your summer itinerary, we have a great festival to share. Hats Off Day is a longstanding tradition in Metro Vancouver, celebrating the Burnaby Heights community every summer since the early ’80s.

Today, the massive, one-day-only festival attracts over 50,000 people annually, featuring a two-kilometre street party with live and roving entertainment. And not to mention, street food from around the world!

On Saturday, June 3rd, Hastings Street between Gamma Avenue to Boundary Road will transform into a day-long party with all kinds of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The festival will kick off with the ‘Family Fun Dash’ kids race, but there’s also a parade to check out, a community zone to learn more about local nonprofits, and even a ‘Show & Shine’ car show!

This year’s fest will take place on Saturday, June 3rd from 9:30 am to 4 pm, so mark your calendars and get ready to have a blast!

We’ll see you there, Vancouver.
